The806er accepts advertising and sponsored content to support local journalism. We keep paid material clearly separated from independent editorial coverage.

Labeling

• All sponsored or paid content is clearly labeled as "Sponsored."
• The sponsoring business is identified.
• Labels are visible before and while you read the content, not hidden.

Separation from editorial

Advertisers and sponsors do not control, approve, or influence our news coverage. Our newsroom decisions are independent of advertising relationships.

Ask 806 and AI

Our AI assistant does not present paid answers as if they were organic. Any sponsored placement surfaced by AI features is labeled.

Standards

Sponsored content must be truthful, comply with the law (including FTC disclosure guidance), and meet the same taste and legality standards as the rest of the site.
