Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains what information The806er (operated by SystemX) collects, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Submissions: the name, email, phone, and content you provide when you send a tip, event, business listing, correction, or advertising inquiry.
  • Newsletter: your email address if you subscribe.
  • Ask 806 queries: the questions you ask our AI assistant, logged to improve answers and monitor for abuse. Do not include sensitive personal information in queries.
  • Advertising and analytics: aggregate, privacy-respecting metrics about site usage and ad performance. We do not store personal identifiers in impression or click logs.
  • Accounts (if/when offered): staff account details for people who log in to manage content.

How we use it

  • To operate and improve the site, review submissions, and publish local coverage.
  • To send the newsletter you requested and respond to your messages.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

How long we keep it

We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Ask 806 query logs are retained for a limited period for quality and abuse monitoring.
