How to report an error

If you spot a mistake, tell us through our Contact page or the Submit form (choose "Correction"). Include the story, the specific error, and any supporting information.

How we handle it

• An editor reviews the request and verifies the facts.
• If a correction is warranted, we update the story and add a visible correction note explaining what changed.
• Significant corrections are noted clearly rather than quietly edited.

Updates vs. corrections

Adding new developments to a story is an update. Fixing an inaccuracy is a correction and is always disclosed.
